Yarrie Lake Area virtual Field Day

This Field Day was developed because Covid 19 had arrived in Australia and it was impossible to organise a safe way to deliver the field day. The field work had all been done and the soil pits photographed and analysed. The presentation was developed in early 2020 so the preparation work was not wasted and the landcare groups could still get the information. Never as good as a real field day, but better than no result. It had good feedback at the time.

The presentation mainly deals with how some soils, which we traditionally view as very poor, can be highly productive under tropical pastures with the right management. If you are interested in whole soil profile improvement, this might be interesting for you.
